Our Approach & Focus Areas
We believe that progress endures when ideas are implemented with accountability and rigor. Our assessment process favours initiatives that build knowledge, strengthen systems, or expand opportunity — efforts designed to outlast their initial funding.
Grants are typically awarded to organizations rather than individuals, with scale and duration determined by the scope and maturity of each proposal. Invecta considers new opportunities by invitation or through expressions of interest that align with its focus areas. Current interests include education, entrepreneurship, and applied research that build foundations for future progress.
Committed Initiatives
Invecta’s first committed initiative is the Center for Environment & Humanity (CEH), located in the Palani Hills of southern India and part of Kodaikanal International School. The Foundation will provide significant core funding to strengthen CEH’s institutional capacity and targeted support for programs that integrate education, research, and community engagement to turn environmental awareness into measurable action. More broadly, CEH’s programs extend to waste management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and capacity-building in partnership with schools, farmers, and regional institutions.
Operating in one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots, CEH demonstrates disciplined, evidence-based action that links learning with local impact — a model of how education can strengthen long-term environmental resilience.
CEH’s Impact:
• 20 tonnes of waste processed annually
• 5,000 participants reached through education and outreach
• 120 farmers engaged in climate-resilient agriculture programs
